Graded Outstanding by the Care Inspectorate 2023

A while back, we asked you to support us in raising money for charity – and you delivered. We took part in this year’s virtual Kiltwalk fundraiser in aid of Carers Trust – and we had a ball.

A huge thank you

We’d like to take the time to thank each and every member of our community who donated to our Virtual Kiltwalk fundraiser in aid of Carers Trust. We had a fantastic time and raised more than £750 for charity which will go a long way in helping them with their important work.

We’re immensely proud of our team for committing to raising money for a cause that is close to our hearts. We are thrilled with the money we have raised and the great things it will allow our charity to continue doing.

The Kiltwalk Fundraiser

On the weekend of the 23rd of April, members of our team took part in this year’s Virtual Kiltwalk event.  We walked, danced and had fun all in the name of raising money for a charity that’s important to us. We’re very proud of our team for taking part in such a valuable, fun event.

Thanks to the kindness of the Sir Tom Hunter foundation, each and every donation was topped up by 50%.  This makes your generous donations twice as valuable to the Carers Trust. They’ll use the money to continue their important work supporting unpaid carers up and down the country.

More about Carers Trust

Carers Trust works up and down the UK, but in Scotland, it’s thought there are at least 690,000 unpaid carers in Scotland. This includes 29,000 young carers under the age of 18.

The Carers Trust is committed to supporting all unpaid carers in the UK. The charity works to improve support, services and recognition for anyone living with the challenge of being an unpaid carer.

Carers Trust work to research and educate on the issue of unpaid care within the UK and are conducting leading research on the topic.

Furthermore, the charity reaches out to schools, helps shape policy and runs awareness campaigns to help people understand what it’s like to be an unpaid carer. We think their work is so worthwhile, especially with the pandemic making a huge impact on all carers.
