No, the initial assessment is free and completely without obligation.
We will come to meet you and your family at your home for the initial assessment where we will discuss your needs and wishes to ensure the care package is personalised to you and delivers on your expectations. If you choose Hamill Homecare as your provider this assessment will form the basis for your care package/plan and once you and your family are happy we can arrange for the service to start at your convenience.
You decide what and how much care you want and when you want it to be delivered. We will work with you to tailor a package of care and if the NHS or local authority has carried out an assessment we will incorporate their care plan into what we do for you.
Yes. We can work together with you and your family to continually review your requirements and to increase or decrease the care package as appropriate.
Hamill Homecare is registered with the Care Inspectorate to provide nursing care and support services to adults and older people with physical disabilities and mental health issues living in their own homes. The Care inspectorate carries out regular inspections and may ask your opinion of our services.
We have comprehensive employee and public liability insurance which covers the work our nurses and carers do In your home.
Yes, our carers can accompany you out walking, on the bus or in a taxi to social events or appointments such as the hairdresser, shopping trips or family parties.
Our Hamill Homecare team is on hand 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday to discuss your individual needs or to arrange an obligation free assessment in the home.
