Longer visits ensures quality care

We want our staff to have the time they need to care for our clients – we understand that quality care can’t be rushed. That’s why all of our care visits are at least one hour long, allowing you to provide care in a calm and unrushed environment. Extended care visits also allow for our care staff to develop meaningful relationships with our clients without worrying about the clock ticking.

 

Client matchmaking

It’s important to us that our staff and clients have a real connection and enjoy the time they spend together. That’s why we like to match our clients to their care team and ensure that they regularly see the same faces.

This not only leads to greater consistency of care, but also allows time for meaningful relationships to be built. We find this is an important, yet often overlooked, aspect of home care.

This way, we can respect our clients’ wishes and ensure that they are always happy with the service they’re receiving from us. It also gives our carers a chance to really get to know their clients.

 

Your diverse skills

Our mission is to keep people at home for as long as possible. That means we take on a lot of complex care tasks which require a range of different specialist skills.

We have experience of caring for a range of conditions including Motor Neurone Disease, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and Multiple Sclerosis as well as operating a range of medical equipment.

To be a Hamill carer, you need to have more than just practical skills. Our carers each have a passion for going above and beyond, doing whatever it takes to make our clients feel special. As we like to say, there’s no job too big for a Hamill carer. We pride ourselves on bringing a positive attitude to everything we do.

You might have noticed by now that we’re not like other home care providers – and we’re proud of that. We make sure our experienced carers have the time to give our clients the service we’d like to receive for ourselves or our own families. This is built into every aspect of our service.

As a carer, it’s no secret that you really care about your job. Our carers have the time, equipment and support to deliver  compassionate care which makes a difference.

 

PPE & Protecting our staff

Now more than ever, we are committed to keeping our staff and clients safe while carrying out our duties. That’s why we’re committed to ensuring our team has access to quality PPE supplies.

We provide our highly trained care staff with surgical facemasks, gloves and aprons which are replenished when required. If necessary, our team also has access to FFP3 grade masks, gowns and face visors to ensure optimum safety.

In addition to PPE, our staff have access to liquid soap, paper towels and medical sanitiser to ensure hand hygiene is a top priority.
